“Awesome!” Success at the first Aspin trade eCommerce workshop
Ask yourself – what do you get when put watches, cuddly toys and fishing rods into one room? An Aspin customer workshop, of course!
The early morning start, the bacon, sausage (and egg) bap, the never-ending cheese straws and cookies – oh yes, we were back in Oxford at the Holiday Inn – this time, talking all things trade eCommerce.
Divided into five talks, with space for multiple breaks for emails and coffees – the workshop encouraged attendees to interact with each other to share best practice ideas – and ask questions.
Our customers swapped tips with each other on website management, how to administer offers, how to drive traffic to the site and much more. The discussions were credible and genuine, thanks to our clients – business owners and marketeers passionate to grow their website through best practice and determination.
Our topics focused on the management and success of your trade website with the following sessions:
- Maintaining your competitive advantage
- InterSell new modules
- InterSell hints, tips and tricks
- Are you ready for a trade website? (Or were you ready?)
To bring InterSell to life for those in the room that were yet to take the plunge, Head of InterSell Projects Julian Stone and Developer Harvey Dobson presented the Aspin demo site with a full suite of modules and functionality. With additional workshops planned for later in the year, we were very keen to receive feedback from everyone via a feedback form (in exchange for an Easter egg!) – which has given us some great ideas going forward.
Nathan Aspin, Managing Director commented: “The event was a great success. Following on from our PixSell workshops, we wanted to give our trade eCommerce customers the chance to join us for an event to share ideas with their websites. With over 30 of our customers, I was really pleased to see the high levels of engagement.
It was great to be able to catch up with many of our customers, and I am very excited about our next event – and the opportunity to do it all again.”
Our next workshop is on April 24, at the Radisson Blu hotel in Derby. You can secure your place for this event here. If you are unable to make this date, please email John King (firstname.lastname@example.org), and we’ll add you to our waiting list for the next workshop.
